What Lexotan is used for?

Lexotan contains the active ingredient bromazepam. Lexotan belongs to a group of medicines called benzodiazepines. They are thought to work by their action on brain chemicals. Bromazepam Lexotan is used for anxiety, tension, or agitation. Anxiety or tension associated with the normal stress of everyday life usually does not require treatment with medicines.

Your doctor, however, may have prescribed Lexotan for another purpose. Ask your doctor if you have any questions about why Lexotan has been prescribed for you. In general, benzodiazepines such as Lexotan should be taken for short periods only (for example 2 – 4 weeks). Continuous long-term use is not recommended unless advised by your doctor. This medicine may be addictive. This medicine is available only with a doctor’s prescription.

What is Norex?

Norex are basically diet pills. Anfepramone, the active ingredient in Norex, is a key component in the treatment of exogenous obesity, allowing you to reduce weight without making major sacrifices or enduring difficult moments.

As an appetite suppressant, Norex may be less disruptive to the central nervous system than other medications in its class. As a short-term supplement to calorie restriction, the medication is most often utilized in the therapy of exogenous obesity. Other appetite suppressants, including sibutramine, phentermine, and dextroamphetamine have similar mechanisms of action.

Clinical Pharmacology

Many of the metabolites of amfepramone are physiologically active and may contribute to the therapeutic effects of IFA Norex. That’s why it is quickly absorbed from the gastrointestinal system after oral administration and undergoes substantial metabolization.
It’s important to note that amfepramone and its metabolites have been shown to penetrate the blood-brain barrier and placenta, according to studies.

Side effects of Norex

If you experience any of the following serious side effects, stop taking the drug.
•    irregular heartbeats;
•    chest discomfort;
•    shortness of breath;
•    swelling in your ankle or foot;
•    seizure;
•    sudden or uncontrollable muscular movements, typically on one side of the body.

Many less significant side effects may accompany the use of this medication, including nausea and vomiting as well as dizziness and sleepiness. Additionally, there may be dry mouth and an unpleasant taste in the mouth, as well as diminished sex desire and moderate itching or skin rash.

How to use Norex?

Pre-meal 25 mg pills are used orally twice a day for 30-60 minutes before each meal. It’s recommended to take 100 mg every day if the impact is inadequate.  A six- to ten-week course of therapy is followed by a three-month follow-up. Interactions

When prescribing Norex diet pills, it should be avoided for patients who are hypersensitive to appetite suppressant medicines or other sympathetic drugs. The same goes for those who have thyrotoxicosis or have a history of drug or alcohol misuse.

General Precautions

If the patient has stopped losing weight, the medicine should be withdrawn. If you have severe hypertension or a heart condition, take this medication with extreme care. Epileptic patients should be closely watched for signs of amfepramone crisis, which has been linked to an increased risk of seizures.
Prolonged usage may lead to dependency, which can lead to a withdrawal episode when treatment is stopped. Also, the drug has been found to cause psychological dependence in certain cases. Occasionally, large dosages have resulted in hallucinations.
